ARTHUR BROWN'S

OTHERWORLD

CRAZY WORLD FIRE SUITE
KINGDOM COME REUNION

GUEST ARTISTs
PSYCHEDELIC LIGHT SHOW
BRUCE DICKINSON AS GUEST DJ

The most spectacular night that the music world has seen in decades, from the greatest innovator and one of the most creative performers that this country has ever produced. In 1968 the whole world stood on the brink of revolution, from the student riots in Paris to peace protesters putting flowers down the barrel of a gun, the hippie movement was sweeping across the world as people sought change, freedom and a belief in a better life. This period forever changed the world and at the centre of it was one man who, more than anybody else, seemed to embody the spirit of the era; that man was the most memorable Arthur Brown. Unlike many other performers of that era, Arthur still fails to be simply categorised. From the moment people saw 'Fire', the song that shot him to worldwide fame, they knew that they were viewing a performer like none other before.

Arthur Brown's Otherworld sees him return, not just as the God of Hellfire, but as the only man capable of the most spectacular show you will ever see. Having sold over 22 million records worldwide Arthur Brown has influenced hundreds of performers and left forever an imprint on an entire generation, who will never forget the day they first got to visit the world of Arthur Brown.

For one night only, many of the stars that Arthur has had an incalculable influence on will all gather on one stage to pay homage to their hero. The original shocker has influenced everyone from Jimi Hendrix to Marilyn Manson, stopping off at Prodigy, Peter Gabriel and Alice Cooper en route. The flaming helmet was just the tip of the iceberg; with Kingdom Come, Arthur could be seen pinned to a cross or from inside a giant syringe. In fact, with Arthur's use of painted face it could be claimed that he is the founding father of the entire modern gothic movement that now seems to be sweeping the country. Otherworld will enable a new generation of music lovers to see the type of show still unimaginable today. Kingdom Come were so far ahead of their time that even today many would still be shocked by their powerful heavy music and the ability to take theatrical rock to new peaks. Not only will Otherworld see a host of stars gathering to perform with the great man, but will also see the first ever reunion of Kingdom Come. The band, who's infamous performances include one of the first Glastonbury festivals, have not played together for almost thirty years and the Otherworld will see for one night only these heroes of the underground return as we all visit the Otherworld. However this is not just a night where Kingdom Come return but we also see the Fire suite, from the infamous smash album that topped the charts on both sides of the Atlantic, performed for the first time since the late sixties. For one night only, a new Crazy World group has surfaced to relive the music from one of the most influential albums in history. Brand new music from Arthur’s current band and a breathtaking psychedelic light show will ensure this will be a concert like no other show. The most spectacular music, bringing together the great innovators, the world's psychedelic leader will not only make London hip once again, but will shake it to its very foundations.

Since then Pete has produced many albums, become a capable percussionist and vocalist, and still continues writing .Over the years he has fronted many splendid bands and is currently engaged in another one.

Stan Adler-----"The Hendix of the cello"
This man is an incredible musician. Everything falls within his scope---Brahms, ellington, Mingus, Hendrix, lightnin Hopkins, not to mention jewish folk music, and, in fact just about any ethnic style.
He is a superb vocalist, and a gifted bass-player. Music pours out of this man in an endless stream! Watch out!

Captain Sensible and Monty -- yes!- of The Damned. What can you say?Of course, they were one of the prime punk groups.Outrageous and theatrical as ever they will play at The Astoria with the band they had before they formed The Damned.A lust for life and fun will invade the stage as their sense of adventure and joy breaks into song.

Phil May and Dick Taylor. These men were there at the beginning of english R nB and Rock. Dick was one of the founder menbers of The Rolling Stones. Phil had the longest hair in English rock. As members of The Pretty Things-- who are still wowing audiences worldwide, still with their original line-up -
they terrified a whole generation of parents. Then they created Sf Sorrow -a great and historic psychedelic music drama. At the Astoria, they will play as a duo, relying just on Phil's superb singing -(Van Morrison calls him "England's finest R+B singer") and Dick's sensitive and lyrically biting guitar style, which has influenced many of the great guitar names.

Howard Marks- Mr Nice!
Sells out to audiences everywhere talking about his experiences
in the early underground. He has championed for a long time the right to freely experiment with the boundaries of consciousness.
His wit , charm, and scintillating mind, coupled with his continuing interest in exploring the frontiers of thought and behaviour, make him the perfect person to introduce and guide along the event.

Bruce Dickinson. Yes, that man of many parts. Airline- pilot, amd flight instructor, sword-fencer for England , train-spotter, family man- that's enough for anyone, right?
Wrong. Of course he is also a well-known radio personality and presenter, and a canny businessman. That's finally enough.
No-- there-s still what he's most famous for. He 's the lead singer with Iron Maiden, about whom so much has been said, why add more to it? Except to say that Bruce's fronting of the band is astonishing in its energy and focus. A man who is a true friend and a deep thinker , it's good to have Bruce Aboard. He's chosen to do the DJing for the Astoria.
